Be a judge!

Accessible Tech in Employment 24hour Hack needs judges for our 2017 event.

The judges should be able to ask questions like, “Why did you choose LISP?!” or “What problems did you run into while implementing the Google Maps API?”. But they should also be interested in human-centred design and accessibility. Bear in mind that you will be needed on both days. You will serve as an expert on Saturday (1 hour), and help as a judge on Sunday (3 hours).

Once decisions are made, as a judge you should go and announce it, and make the winners feel special. Make sure they come to the front of the stage and present them with each prize as if they were accepting an Olympic medal. They earned it.

Please get in touch, if you are interested in becoming a judge at our two-day hackathon event (18-19 March 2017). You can also make a recommendation. Email or call us, and tell us briefly about yourself, your experience and plans for the event – details below.
